AP Comp Science A help!!

<p>Hi guys!!!
I'm about to choose my schedule for next year and I'm stuck on whether I should do AP comp Science A or not. I have had no prior programming experience.Can I please have some details about this class?</p>

<p>My school wouldn’t allow a student to take AP Comp Sci without taking the prerequisite Intro Programming class. I suggest you take that during summer to be prepared for the AP class.</p>

<p>The course does not require any prior programming experience. It is supposed to be equal to the first semester of a college introductory computer science course. My school taught us the AB curriculum (which was discontinued) even though the test only covers the A curriculum. I did not find the class too difficult. I personally recommend the class.</p>
