AP Computer Science A

How hard is the AP computer science A course? Do you have to be very good at Math? How much time do you have to spend each day on this course? How hard is it to get 4 or 5 in the AP test?

Not very hard. It is one of the easier exams. AP CS AB(which I took) is a bit tougher, but still one of the easier exams.

Then again, IMO, Physics and Humanities are the hardest, and everything else is pretty easy.

AP comp sci is a joke. You don't need to know math, just logic.

What's the difference between A and AB? Are they pretty much the same?

Also we just finished the karel stuff in computer math so does that show up on there.

Is physics really that hard?

no... if you study it's not... otherwise i hope you're bright... and good at calc (if it's c)

Yes it is physics c, and i took calc last year (bc)

i'm taking physics C this year(junior), and I'm in multivar calc. It isn't hard, but relative to the other exams, it is.

I'm in that same situation. What have you guys covered so far?

We're on rotational kinematics.

Aha. We're right around there.

What book are you using?
