I'm enrolled in AP Comp Sci A right now. My friend gave me her Barron book from when she took comp sci, but the book was written when their was still an AB course. Should I get the new Comp sci book thats been rewritten to account for discountinuing the AB course or should I just use the A/AB book I have right now?

The A/AB book would be sufficient. There are a few AB topics that are now in the A exam, so make sure you’re aware of those so that you can study them.

Ok, thank you.

Yeah I used the Barron’s for A and AB and it was great. It divides the two parts up pretty well so it’s clear what is A and what is AB. By the way, don’t be discouraged by lower scores on the Barron’s exams… they tend to be harder. Just be sure that you master all the questions you miss.
