AP Computer Science Score

I'm an incoming freshmen this year to JHU, and I just got my AP CompSci A score and I got a 4. Since they give credits for 5 on CompSci A and 4,5 on CompSci AB, I was wondering since the AB test was canceled, does any one know if they changed the score policies? I mean, just asking because I was slightly hoping they would now accept a 4,5 on A ....
Does anyone know for sure?

[Johns Hopkins University Office of Undergraduate Admissions - Apply - AP/IB/Other Credit Information](http://apply.jhu.edu/apply/apib.html)

According to their website, they haven’t changed their AP policy. Unless you are trying to graduate early, not having 3 extra AP credits won’t be problem in the big picture

Well, compsci was torture to me, and it is a requirement for my major, so it would’ve been nice if i had gotten credit for it…

well the website still has AB on it, so maybe they haven’t updated it since AB is no longer a choice …

You can call the office of the registrar and ask but if you really struggles during CompSci A, then you will probably most likely struggle in upper level CompSci classes too. So my advice would be to retake CompSci A (dunno what its name is under ISIS; not a CompSci major) at JHU first semester especially since first semester is covered grades. This way, you will establish a great foundation and can add onto that once you take upper level classes.
