I have to sign up for my AP tests by thurs. Is it true that JHU will not at all accept the AP Eng Lang/Lit exam or the AP Physics B exam?
I dont want to spend money and take the tests if there is no way to get the credit... so far i am taking AP calc AB and AP compsci AB... any suggestions/comments?

the only APs you get credit for:

yea i have seen the site, thanks. but people always say dont go by just what the admissions packets/websites say. you can always argue w/ departments. i was wondering if any1 had and was able to get credits for things that arent on that site

Be sure that your admissions rep. is aware that you're not going to take the AP. I can't see why they'd really care if they don't grant credit, but it would be a really stinky reason to have your acceptance withdrawn- stay on the safe side and check!

i e mailed the admissions department and they said they definitely would not revoke your ed admittance if you did not take an ap test. In fact, they recommended not taking the english/history ones because they wont give you credit anyway.

Well done Ryan! Thanks for taking the initiative on that one...

well my school doesnt offer that many AP courses, so by the time i graduate i will have taken 6, of which i am taking 4 exams. Chem, US hist (too bad they dont give credit for this, i got a 5), Calc AB, CompSci AB... if i get a 4 or 5 on both Calc and CompSci i will have a total of 13 credits out of the way coming in, which isnt too shabby. anyone who has more than that sure is lucky as hell...
