Hey Guys!

I'm a highschool junior, currently signed up for ap physics b, ap lang, and apush, as well as a couple of other honors courses. What do you guys think about this course load? Am I going to be stressed out? I'm willing to work hard, but I also would like to have a little bit of free time. I'm particularly nervous about apush.

let me know!

I think that you are fine. The APUSH test isn’t that hard (From what I’ve heard) and usually history fans ENJOY THE PAIN, I mean History.

Good Luck with your courses and try not to stress. I mean you probably have gone through stuff like this and are battle-ready!

I’ve only taken APUSH out of those (last year, which was my junior), and I can say that it would definitely depend on the teacher. The first half of the year my teacher made the whole class do 20-30 vocab word definitions for each chapter (one ch. a week), another assignment with in-depth questions due every Monday, miscellaneous worksheets, with multiple quizzes throughout the week (a few hours of reading and of homework a week) and a test every Friday.

That teacher scrapped that after a few months and went to having a 5 question MC quiz three days a week and vocab on the other two days (consisting of a 100+ word paragraph on what it was and the historical significance, of a random word from a list of 20), with no homework due and a test every two weeks over two chapters. Needless to say, I only read parts of the chapters 90% of the time and did decently on the quizzes, but managed an A- the first semester and an A the second (most students did not, but all the ones that tried hard did). The teacher taught well enough for the exam and somehow I got a 4, but I would advise reading everything and staying awake in class- I don’t think I deserved that score on the exam, although many on CC wouldn’t be happy with it since there’s a better one : P. You can do well and learn in an easier APUSH class or toil under a difficult one and possibly learn the same amount- depends on whether you are looking for a grade in the class, a good exam score, or to diligently learn the material for educational/other purposes : )- or any combination of those.

I think you should be good for the year : D.
