I was wondering if UT gives you a grade equivalent to your AP score (3 = C, 4 = B, 5 = A), or do they just give you credit for your class?

My sister said they used so I'm not sure what classes to take at a cc.

Thanks

Just credit for the class.

You can check your AP exam scores here to see what UT classes are eligible for credit by your AP exam.

Because AP credit generally relieves you of taking the intro class, have you researched whether you are better off applying the credit to your community college studies? The resources on this page are helpful in determining what classes to take at your community college for transfer to UT. Especially relevant here, follow the link to the Common Transfer Credit Problems page, then click Credit by Examination.

Correct me if I’m wrong, Dual classes are the opposite right? Grades do transfer?

As far as I know, transfer credits don’t come with grades.
