<p>i will be a cals student in the fall and got 5s on both the AP Lit and AP Comp exams. am I exempt from taking a FWS?</p>

<p>tried, clearly. it is far more difficult to find that answer than i would have thought. thats why i came here</p>

<p>i heard unless you’re a bioE or envE from cals, you ARE exempt from both FWS from getting 5’s on lit and lang. i would just double check with the department just in case though. a simple phone call to your advisor or cals advising should suffice.</p>
