AP Credit Policy

So I'm attending Georgetown next year, and today I looked on their website about AP credit policy and found that they don't accept any credit for AP Physics B. I have already registered for the AP, so is it worth it to take the AP or should I just cancel it?

They don;t accept credit because AP Physics B involves no calculus, making it a fairly pointless college based physics course where everything is calc based, but you should take it if you feel ready, no real downside and its good pratice

I’m generally of the “it can’t hurt” school, but it is your time and your money. Having said that, I took the AP Physics B exam after 10th grade physics and I do think the experience of studying for it helped me drag my way to a reasonably successful time in Physics C (Mechanics only, though) my senior year. Now, once I got to Georgetown, I was safely ensconced in the SFS (Safe From Science!) bubble and didn’t have to worry about science ever again, but if science is in your future, it seems like it would be a good thing to pursue.
