Hi all! I read that if you receive a 4 or a 5 on an AP exam, you can get 3 non-major elective credits out of it. Can anyone elaborate on this more? From what I understand you can’t use AP credits for the core or for your major but is the amount of non-major elective credits you can get capped at 3? Like can you get credit for each area (mathematical reasoning, physical science, etc.) or only one area? I’m a little confused and just want to see if its still worth for me to take my AP tests this year lol. Thanks!
It depends on your major. My D is a business major and got major credit for Micro and Macro Economics as well as for Calc. She only got elective credit for AP Bio, but I think it counted toward the science Core. Look at the Fordham website, I recall it was pretty clear.
Okay, thank you!
