AP Credit to Med. Schools

I'm currently a senior in high school with an AP Calculus AB credit (scored a 4) under my belt, and I will probably pass the BC exam with a 4 this year. My query is whether med schools accept AP calculus credit from high schools or not? If so, would I appear as a less competitive applicant than someone who has taken calculus 1 and 2 at their respective college?

Also, as far as my understanding, med schools typically require calculus 1 and 2.

Many med schools will let you use your AP credit for calc if it is listed on your college transcript. A few schools will not. My D didn’t apply to any of those and still had many choices. For some other pre-req’s …not so much.

Take Stats in college from the Math Department and along with your Calc BC credit you should have lots of schools from which to choose.
