Good Afternoon,

I am very confused regarding AP transfer credit. I am going to go to a CC, and I plan to transfer to a UC or Cal State from there on.

I will have passed about 8-11 AP classes (depending on this year's) and I was wondering what the transfer policy looks like. According to the CC, I can transfer all my AP units to meet the IGETC requirements for transfer to UC/CALSTATE BUT then when I go to the UC Transfer website, it states only a limited amount of PASS/NOPASS credits can be used to transfer (22) while I myself will have accumulated anywhere between upper 40s to about 64 Quarter Units? I am very confused about this.

Anyone have any idea how this works out? Can I transfer ALL my AP credit successfully to a UC AND use it for graduation once there?

DOES THIS ALSO APPLY TO THE CAL STATE SYSTEM? DO THEY HAVE A LIMIT ON PASS/NOPASS TRANSFER CREDIT?!

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!
