Would anyone suggest (or dissuade) skipping the intro courses for micro/macroecon? biology? chem? I'm interested in premed, so I believe it's to my benefit to take intro science courses again, but would it be better for me to skip intro econ courses since they're big lecture classes? Or will the 200-level courses be too tough for a freshman to handle?

they actually have a 200 level econ class just for that purpose, i believe that it combines micro and macro and is for people who did well on both APs.

chemistry is also easy to skip, biology I would be more worried about (atleast MOL 215, almost everyone skips MOL 211) because the focus is on molecular biology, and the AP's focus is not on the molecular biology, especially techniques, as much

there is also CHM 215, or turbochem, which is first year chem in a semester, and counts as a full year for medical school. It's for people who got 4s on the AP test, or just dont feel ready for orgo yet

ec1234: If I do take MOL 214, would I have to review the bio i learned in high school (i took it as a soph) before going into the course?

No, MOL 214 is an intro class. MOL 211 is animal behavior, so not related to MOL 214 at all.
