AP credit!

basicly how does it work? do you receive a letter grade for your scores (5 - A, 4 - B, 3 - C)

You know you get a 1-5 score. Now depending on your college they should have a list of what you need to get on the exam and what classes you can get out of because of it. So let’s say you get a 5 on Calc BC, you will probably get credit at your university for Calc 1 and 2. Therefore, you get the credit without taking the class at the university. As simple as that.

And I’ve never heard of a college that gives you an actual grade on your transcript for the class, so if you do get out of a class, it will just show up as credit and not an actual grade. So if you get a 5 on an AP test, it will just say that you gained credit for a class, but will not say that you got an “A.”
