AP Credits, am I able to skip U0?

Hey all, just got accepted into Mcgill a couple weeks ago! Applied for res so everything is basically set. I am currently taking 4 AP courses, and already earned a 4 in AP Euro last year.

I am taking:
AP Language
AP Calc AB
AP Chinese
AP US History

I am doing really well in all those courses and my teachers all said I will have no trouble getting a 4 or above. The question is, will these exams exempt me from U0 in the management faculty?

If I’m correct, you need around 24-30 credits in order to be classed as a U1 student. Since each class is around 3-4 credits, I don’t think you’ll be able to switch over to the full U1 status. Anyways, at the very least, you’ll probably get exemptions from some classes, allowing you to take U1 courses, but you won’t be able to get the full skip. However, the final decision is really up to the university. Have a check in midsummer at your unofficial transcript. By July/August, it should list classes you already have advanced standing forin the transcript, and that will help you figure out what you have to take.
