I know that Ross is a 3 year program.
How does AP credit system work?

Here is my situation:

I received 4,5’s on Calc BC, Chem, and Stats

This year, I signed up to take Physics B and Biology, but frankly, I don’t think I will get 3 or above on both.

I just read Ross’s FAQ and
The Ross BBA requires a total of 120 credits, 75 of which must be earned after you formally begin the BBA Program.
which means a person needs to earn 45 credits outside the program, and the 45credits include first year’s 27 credits.

So if I do my math correctly, I get 5 creidts from Chem, 4 credits from Calc BC, and 4 credits from Stats. (5+4+4=13)
And if I earn 27 credits in my freshman year, 13+27 is 40.

Is that mean I only need (45-40=5) 5 credits outside the program?
And does this imply that I could bomb on my bio and physics exams?

I will be applying via regular admission to Ross

“which means a person needs to earn 45 credits outside the program”.

False. If you read the FAQ carefully, you can deduce that a person only needs to earn a maximum of 27 credits outside of the BBA program.

Thanks for the correction, but I still have not gotten my answer.
Could I bomb on my Bio and Physics B exams?
Even if I get 5’s on them, they are not gonna be that beneficial if I want to get into Ross?

You can bomb them. You will not need the credits. At least 75 of the 120 must be earned after you join the program.

You can be accepted without any AP credits, so yes you can bomb them. You need at least 27 graded credits taken at Michigan in order to apply to Ross and you can only transfer a maximum of 45 credits into Ross (a combination of the 27 graded credits, AP credits, excess over 27 taken freshman year, credits transferred from other schools). You need to take at least 75 credits (but not all in Ross) after you start Ross, and that number can range from 75-93. (93 if the only credits you bring in are the 27 you need to apply).

yes! that’s very good news!

One more question:

I also signed up for both micro and macro economics,
is it better to take the next level in freshman year after getting at least 4 on both,
or can I bomb on them as well and take the 101 and 102 econs in freshman year?

You can bomb those too. Even if you do well on an Econ AP test, that is not enough to get you out of taking Econ 101 at Michigan as a requirement to apply to Ross. You can fill the Calc requirement with a good score on a Calc AP though.

Is that ture? if it is, then I’m golden.

Can somebody else tell me that’s true? just to make sure :D

Of course it’s true. Just read the FAQ again.
