If I get credit for MATH 114 by passing the internal placement exam for, can I still enroll in STAT 101 or 102 (see next question) or will I have to take upper-level STAT (430/431)?

Also, with AP credit for STAT 111 you can directly enroll in STAT 102 right?
Are there also internal exams to get credit for STAT 111 or do you need to have the 5 in AP Stat? (there aren't any AP's offered where i live, but I think that I know enough about Statistics to pass the test...if there is one)

I don't think there is an internal placement exam for statistics.

Unless you're a dual degree student or in certain programs, you can always take 101 and 102. Certain programs require 430 and 431. Really though, if you've had enough math to get credit for 114, you should take 430. It will only do you good.

Thanks a lot.
This is all very confusing and since I'm in a joint-degree program things are maybe even more complicated...I'll just brush up my math skills to place out of 114 (or at least 104) and wait for the summer when we get our advisors.

You should definately try to place out of 104. Which dual degree are you in? You need to get a 5 on the AP stat test to place out of stat. And you can still enroll in 101 or 102 if you place out of math 114.
