Hi, I was just wondering if UCSC transfer credits specifically for Physics B because in this site, you definitely will get credits for it:

University of California - Santa Cruz

According to this site however, you might get credits:

Advanced Placement & International Baccalaureate Test Scores | Undergraduate Advising | Jack Baskin School of Engineering | UC Santa Cruz

"Note: Students may check with the office of Admissions for details on other AP and IBH examinations that also satisfy university requirements."

So does anyone know the details?

Here is a pdf with AP credits and UCSC classes
http://admissions.ucsc.edu/academics/ap-ib-chart-2011.pdf

From what it looks like, getting even a 5 on the AP Physics Test would not mean you are exempt from taking any classes, but you get 8 units/(credits?) for passing the physics B test.

what’s the point of getting credits if it doesn’t come with a class, doesn’t that mean I have to take the same thing again either way?
