For all the people in VPA who took the AP exams (art and music kids), do you know if you get credit for tests in Calc, Econ, English even though it's not part of your major? I know you get credit for AP art and music theory but how about those other subjects?

Not a kid, but they accept all AP credits as long as you get a 4 or 5 - don't accept 3.

Are you sure grmom...I think for some classes they accept 3's. Can't remember where I read it but I recall comparing it to other schools that only accepted 4 or 5.

if you go to www.syr.edu and type in "ap credits" into the search box you get a pdf that shows what scores you need on each test and what classes that exempts you from.

for most classes its a three. i kno its a three for english, macro econ, micro econ, stats and law and politics. i think u need a 4 in american history and a 4 in psych and a 4 in most languages. dont quote me on the last part tho

I know they accept 3s for AP English Comp. Whoo-hoo! No froshie writing course and 6 credits free for me! :D
