I'm going to major in music at Syracuse and am wondering if it's worth my time to pay/study for the AP exams in May. (I'm thinking about taking 3 right now). The reason is that it's not like getting credit is going to really exempt me from any classes for my major (like Calc, Econ, etc). Any thoughts?

Woah, if you took the time to actually take the classes, by all means take the AP exams! If anything, those classes will cover some elective courses for your major.

Yeah I know, it's just that I'm taking three in a month and I'm not really prepared. But whatever, I'm going to end up taking them just for the hell of it. :)

Well in my school AP classes get a 10% weight, but its taken away if you don't take the AP exam. If its the same case with you I suggest you start studying hehe.
