<p>Ok I understand that colleges give credits for APs with good grades. I know all colleges have their individual credit systems. Supposing I take 7-9 APs and get good grades in them all; approximately how much credit will I get? A semesters worth? A years worth? Or somewhere in between?</p>
<p>It depends on your University, but the max that most give is 30 credit hours (1 year).</p>

<p>Probably, depending on how high you scored, I believe most Universities give a ridiculously high amount of credit for getting a 5 on AP Bio or AP Chem, again it really depends on your school and how they handle AP. If I were you I would go to the schools that you are considering applying to/ have applied to and see what their policy is.</p>
<p>You need to go to the specific school website and check their AP policy and chart. Don't forget that some schools charge for the credits (still cheaper than their usual "per credit rate"). My older son's public instate college "gave" him the credits that he earned through AP's. My younger son's private college charged him for the credits that he earned through AP's (charge is per credit).</p>
<p>Son took 13 AP classes in high school and 1 college class (taught in high school).</p>
<p>He got 6 credits for one class. (I think it was history)
He got 3 credits for 11 classes.
He got 6 credits for the college class, I think. (If he only got 3 credits, then he must have gotten another 6 credits for a different AP class.</p>
<p>I know for sure he started college with 45 credits.
I know he did not get credit for 1 AP class.</p>
<p>You can google the name of the school you are interested in along with AP credits and you will see a chart. It does not mean they will definitely give you credit and will also depend on the AP test score.</p>
