i've taken 3 aps. my school pretty muchonly offers english, us, bio and calc every year. we had spanish and world last year only, physics this year only and we've never had govt or econ. most of our ap offerings are based on how many would be willing to take the course and if we can find a teacher to teach it. (small public competitive hs) spanish was prettyy hard, english is a cinch for me & stats is pretty easy given i'm not a math person.

Hardest: AP Physics, AP English (the teacher is GREAT but there's SO much essay writing and her standards are very high), AP Calculus, AP Music Theory (why do people think this class is easy...it's NOT...and the exam isn't easy either...this is coming from a 7 year jazz/classical musician)

Medium: AP Biology (not as hard as I thought it was going to be), AP Economics (the teacher doesn't know the subject), AP Spanish, AP Chemistry, AP Psychology (tough teacher) AP Art, AP Computer Science

Easiest: AP US History (all we did was watch movies and eat lol...that's why only one person got above a 3 last year), AP Statistics, AP World History, AP Language (the teacher is a joke)

Hardest: Physics (not sure if it's C or what), Chem (no one ever drops below a C, but only because she pads the tests like crazy w/busy work!), Calc BC, and Art Studio (they have like 12 friggin' projects per quarter!)

Easiest: AP Psych, AP Art History. I personally found AP World to be really easy, too.

At my school the US History AP was easy, and it didn't take much to make a high 'A', just study the day before the tests and you'll make a 98. If you don't study, listen in class, or mainly, do your homework, then that's a different story. Our AP class was easy, and therefore, had its advantages and disadvantages. It was easy = not much work and stress for students. It was easy = I didn't pass the AP exam. I'd rather have a rigorous, tough class than one that, on the AP level, is a blow-off.
