I'm taking AP Micro right now and I might self-study for AP Macro. Anyway, I can't figure out what test prep book to use. I'm stuck between two of them:
5 steps to a 5 for AP Micro/Macro and
Princeton Review Cracking AP Micro/Macro.
Which one is better, as in covers everything and has good practice tests? Thank you!

For Macro I went with Princeton. I liked the practice test in 5 steps to a 5. I used it for Micro and found it to be helpful too. But for Macro, I'd say Princeton is slightly better, but both are good review books.

I'm using barrons and Princeton. I find them helpful, but my teacher recommends 5 steps to a 5 (2008), because he said after going through it he found no mistakes (which btw is very rare in econ prep books).

I recommend either PR or 5 steps to a 5.

You can't take Micro and Macro in same year

Liist: They are both given on the same day, but one in the AM and one in the PM, so , yes, you can take both in the same year....

I think Liist is confusing it with AP Calculus AB and BC

I recommend the Barron's review guide. It is quite comprehensive and contains enough to refresh your memory both conceptually and graphically (we all know how important those graphs are). I don't know about the practice tests, though, as I didn't use them. I did get 5s on both of the exams, but I attribute this much more to my fantastic teacher than to the review guide.
