I have one spot for electives left on my schedule. What class would be the best to take? AP Econ is both macro and micro so you can take two tests. It's a new course so I would like to try it out. AP Psych is really easy at my school. I like it but want to take it in college instead. AP Stat's I kind of like, but would prefer another class. So which class do you think I should take?

For me, AP Stats is completely and utterly boring. I know what to do, but I don't really know why I do it (I was taught, but it doesn't stick). I really can't tell you anything about they other two.

each one has advantages and disadvantages-
Econ could have a bad teacher in that specific subject. Since it's new, you can't have anyone's advice on that subject. On the other hand, you take 2 tests and have a better chance at getting college credit.
Psych- Your very intrested in it! That is a major plus, but you want to take it at college. There's really no other disadvantage
Stats- Yor not really intrested in it. Your probably not going to try as hard in this class because you don't care for it. You could get a bad grade in that class if you really aren't intrested in it.
I think you should take Psych because your really intrested in it and if you get college credit for it, then you just take a more advanced class in college.

I vote Stats, because as a "science nerd" it will be extremely useful for you (if you ever want to do research, etc.).

i would say economics, because i love economics. stat is also really really boring yet really easy.

Stat is really hard to teach especially since most teachers don't know how to teach it. I was really lucky and had a great teacher. I recommend you take it in college.
Econ is easy and self-studyable.
Take psych.

I've never heard much about Econ..
But Psych vs Stats.. Psych is probably easier, but Stats doesn't sound like a killer neither.

Depends on what you're interested in. Stats will be beyond useful if you like research, science-oriented subjects. Psych is more on the humanities side. Econ, I think, is pretty necessary, but if you're not interested in it, it's no good.

How is AP Economics new? It's been offered OVER 5 years. Never do AP Statistics Junior or Senior year, it'll be very boring.

I tend to disagree, if you want a slack class for senior year when senioritis sets in, take AP Stat.

It is a new course to his SCHOOL.

I think the OP should take psych because it is a really interesting subject to learn about. Stats would be boring and econ wouldn't be too helpful unless you want to get into the business field.

I think some form of econ should be required of all high school graduates. The lack of financial literacy among adults is ridiculous.

But yeah AP Econ's really interesting, and I would have taken AP psych if my school offered it.
