Hello,
I still am relatively new to College Confidential, but our school year is winding down, and I need to start planning my classes for next year. I just had a few hiccups in my schedule planning, and I want some advice. So this year I took AP world, AP bio, honors algebra 2, Honors English 10, and other required electives in order to graduate high school. Junior year I plan on taking Honors pre-calc, ap chem, ap us gov, ap econ, biochem, band, and Ib English. (our school offers IB and AP) The scheduling issue is with AP econ, I really want to take this class alongside AP gov, since they complement each other in terms of content, but my dilemma is that I am lowkey more interested in AP psych since my intended major in college would be neurobiology or psych. For English, during my junior year, I have the choice of taking IB English HL or AP lit. The reason why this decision is a problem for me is because of the curriculum, since I have friends in IB English HL I know what kind of homework they get in the class, and it’s really not too bad, but I don’t actually know anyone who took ap Lit at our school since it’s a new course. I need some advice on how the AP literature class is structured.
You need a foreign language in your schedule.
IB HL is generally considered harder than Ap lit but it’d be school dependent.
You can take AP Psych as an elective senior year.
