AP Econs - Zomg our textbook = 1.5/5 rating on Amazon

Any suggestions on what I can do to prep for the AP since our textbook rating is like..sad? XD

Ouch lol.... Go into the Consolidated AP Review Book Suggestions thread, find the most popular book (unfortunately, there are a lot of people claiming that review books for econ aren't good, and that you should subscribe to an econ magazine or newspaper yadda yadda yadda), and then consult Amazon to confirm that it got similar ratings to those on CC. Also, if you can't find any reviews for the newest edition of a particular book, check reviews for older editions because they are generally very similar.

Here's our macro-econs textbook on amazon:
<a href="http://www.amazon.com/Macroeconomics-Sixth-Package-William-Boyes/dp/0618476598%5B/url%5D">http://www.amazon.com/Macroeconomics-Sixth-Package-William-Boyes/dp/0618476598</a></p>

The micro-econs one is the same - same rating, just with "micro-econs" on the textbook cover instead. Not kidding. AND the supplementary textbook our teacher uses is from the 1980s. Talk about scary.

Thanks for the advice, I'll look around and see if I can't find something around her ;D

Wow that's hillarious. I love how the picture doesn't even look like an amazon picture, but more like something someone took at home with a crappy camera and uploaded. But seriously, don't worry. Econ is considered to be one of the easier exams (especially macro) so you can easily do well on it.
