<p>So I got the disappointing news today of recieving a 2 on AP English Lang....which is extremely embarrassing considering I want(ed) to major in English in college. :( I thought I had passed for sure, seeing as I had an incredible teacher. Should I get the MC rescored? I've heard some success stories regarding this, but I know it may be pretty rare.</p>
<p>I wouldn’t, I doubt they made a mistake. I got a 5 on the test.

<p>I wouldn’t waste the money getting the MC rescored. It is very unlikely that your score will come back different after you have it rescored, and it could be the free responses that affected your score in the first place. I have to say, I was a little thrown off myself by the rhetorical analysis prompt asking to analyze the use of satire, even though I ended up with a 4.</p>
<p>If you feel there is no valid reason for a 2…then the $25 investment is worth a rescore. But if you feel it’s the essays that might be weak…don’t bother because they don’t rescore those (only the MC).</p>
