I'm deciding between which AP to take in May (AP English Literature and AP Biology). I'm not in a biology class but I'm self-studying for the test (i took advanced bio last year but we did not cover all the concepts. i only know 60-65% of the AP test material really well) so I have to study a lot on my own. Because I have other exams in May I need to study for, would it be hard to self-study Bio along w/ everything else? I have until Monday to choose which test I will be taking (AP Eng or AP Bio). I'm also taking AP Spanish, which I should do well on and AP Chemistry, which I am in the same boat as in bio (i.e, i have to study A LOT if i want to even think of getting a 4).
To give you some background, I've already taken 6 AP exams and I've taken AP English Language, which even though I did not take the class, I ended up doing really well on. Would AP Lit be the same situation?

Yep. The AP Lang and AP Lit exams are almost identical in terms of content and format; the only real difference is that AP Lit has poetry while AP Lang doesn’t. You could probably take the AP Lit cold and get a 4 or better.

Definitely Lit.
Just make sure you’ve read a few books of “literary merit” and know them extremely well, because one essay will ask a general question that you have to use stuff from a work you’ve read to answer.

I suggest: Heart of Darkness, Hamlet, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. Those work for just about everything.

I’m surprised you didn’t mention Invisible Man, Crime and Punishment or Adventures of Huckleberry Finn.

Take AP Lit.
