<p>Does AP English help you prep for the SAT Writing portion?
My companion unwillingly admitted that the course was the sole reason he earned a 750 on the CR.</p>
<p>I think it depends more on you and how familiar you are with the writing section.</p>
<p>well i took ap lang...i thought it was alright. It doesn't help you tremendously. But u learn quite a lot of vocab/ read some hard material. So in a way, it does help...but dont expect ur score to magically jump by taking an AP.</p>
<p>for me, it was the other way around. studying for the SAT Cr section helped me ace the AP exam.</p>
