I'm worried I will not be able to answer the FRQs... because I will simply just lack examples/knowledge on the topics :( any ideas on how to make sure I have a general idea on how to write these FRQs?

Know about women’s history and the Cold War. These topics come up a lot.

And if you do well on the MC, all you need is a 6 on the FRQs. Perfect your DBQ and your MC.

Yeah the Cold War and its end is very common. Also, look at comparisons between two or three significant people and events. The non-DBQ essay questions I answered last year had to do with covering multiple, similar topics from a time period. Finding the relations between significant topics is probably going to be what your questions this year call for.

Also, perfect the DBQ; if you can get all or most of your points on that you will be in great shape for the FRQ.

Don’t worry too much. I completely BSed my FRQ on communism, just throwing out random terms like Prague Spring w/out even knowing what it was. And I got a 5 on the exam last year. : D Then again, I knew the subject of my other FRQ very well. If you know one FRQ question well and another not so well, I suggest spending a bit more time on the one you know well.

However, Prague Spring was related to communism (rather, the fall of it). I doubt a term like Prague Spring would do any good on an essay about Hitler annexing the Sudetenland (though I hope something about the Interwar Period comes up).

Yeah, yeah… I knew it was related to communism. I just had no idea how. So I really just threw it out there, with no context whatsoever. Lol.

well, one good idea would be to review questions that have actually been used on previous AP exams. I’ve got a list of past essay questions here: [AP Pass - AP Euro Study Help - Past AP Euro Essay Questions](<a href=“Essayquestions]ap - AP European History Study Help - AP Pass”>Essayquestions - AP European History Study Help - AP Pass)
