AP Euro or AP Psych?

I am planning my junior year schedule and I just want to know which class would be more worthwhile to take or which one is more fun...

These are my classes so far-
-American Lit H
-AP US History
-Physics H
-Pre-Calc H
-Jazz Band
-Concert Band
-French 3
-Spanish 4H

I really like history but I think psych would be interesting too...I just want someone's opinion...thanks!

No recommendation for one or the other, but psych was the funniest and most interesting class I ever took.

At D's high school, AP Euro is an incredibly difficult class, AP Psychology is a favorite among students. I was a psych major in college, so I'm biased, but I'd say take which one you're more interested in. One thought----if you can use AP credit at your future university, AP Psychology will probably get you out of one of those big lecture-hall classes freshman year.

My school doesn't have AP Psych, but I'm taking AP Euro this year and I really like it. Its one of my favorite APs that I've taken

My school doesn't offer AP Psych either, but I took AP Euro soph. year. The AP test was pretty tough, but it was a good class. Lots of memorization more than anything.

I'd take Euro, it will look better, but of course I love history. Psyche is more AP-lite.

My 2 S's took AP Psyc. and really enjoyed it. The AP Euro. teacher at our school is not great and the AP Psyc. teacher is. The teacher can make all the difference

Although you like history, I'd recommend AP psych. Generally people like the class, because it's informative and intriguing, while also being one of the easier APs. With your schedule, an easier course that you find intriguing is better.

i am a junior in high school this year, and my schedule is similar to that schedule you have, except i have ap english and different electives. i also am taking ap euro this year. the problem with taking ap euro and ap us in the same year is the reading. there is a lot. if you do your homework and read the textbook, the reading really stacks up. ap euro is a really fun course, other than the monarchs of the countries sometimes get confusing just because they all have the same name. :)

but if you have a passion for history, do ap euro. but if you dont have a great work ethic, take ap psych.

As astrophysicsmom said, many colleges don't give credit for AP Psych (even for a 5). I enjoyed Euro a lot more, and I self-studied AP Psych in less than a month, so my advice would be AP Euro. Then again, a good/bad teacher can make the difference- talk to students currently in those classes, if you can.

Thanks for all the posts!
I've talked to peeps who have taken both and most say Euro is worth it...
Plus, I know the Euro teacher and I had her last year and she is AMAZING!
But I'm not sure about the psych teacher....who knows...maybe I'll save AP Pysch for senior year!

Again, thanks for all the responses!!
