What's your advice? I'm trying to decide between AP European History and AP Calculus AB. Last year my more difficult classes were APUSH, AP Physics B, and regular Calculus. Next year I'm taking Percussion, a church class, AP Econ, AP Gov, AP English, and AP Chem. I'm afraid not taking a math class my senior year could hurt me in college and since I took calculus last year AP Calc would be easy. But AP Euro seems really fascinating and wouldn't just be a repeat of last year... What is your opinion?

Thanks,
Ethan

Take AP Calc. It’s beneficial (and might be required by some colleges) to have a math class senior year. Maybe even BC since you’ve already taken Calculus?

You already have two social studies AP courses. In terms of what colleges are “looking” for, you have met the requirement of four years of social studies classes. Math is also another core class, and unless you have exhausted every other option available to you, it will not look good that you simply ceased to take math. Calculus is a basic requirement for many college majors, so you would also be doing yourself a disservice by taking three social studies classes and no maths.

If you really want to take AP Euro, then drop Gov or Econ. From my experience with both those classes, Gov is more-or-less basic American civics and American history. You’ve taken APUSH, and you could honestly learn the rest from keenly following the news for a couple of months.
