Buy this textbook: Western Civilization by Jackson Spievogel
Buy this review book: Barron’s AP European History

Read through the textbook starting from the Renaissance and finish it up in March-April and then use your remaining time to go through the review book and summarize chapters and take practice multiple choice/frqs.

I self-studied it this year, so we’ll see how well I did. If you took AP World or AP US, writing the frqs should be easy (you’ll just need to learn facts to put in the essays). I definitely think having good writing skills down prior is a must to self-studying this exam.

^Do Barrons but DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOK. Buying the textbook is completely pointless you are good studying one two (at most) review books. Trust me I have self-studied AP Human Geo and Euro and gotten a 5 on both w/ only the Barrons book.

Modern European Hist gets good reviews and I’m sure it is but I bought it and never used it because it was in similiar format to crash course just more dense and less readable lol. Although I am sure both would suffice but neither have practice tests which are very useful. So I would suggest Barrons and crash course or barrons and MEH by birdsall viault
