***AP European History Thread 2015-2016***

Hm mine was completely different. I didn’t have any of those questions

I did really well with LEQ, MC, and SAQ’s, but I don’t think I did well on the DBQ. That will probably bring down my score to a 4 even a 3

@Ishyoboi02018 you’re overreacting. If you think you “did really well” with everything except the DBQ you will most likely get a 5. Just use one of those score calculators.

Thanks, but it’s just that it’s my first AP and I was the only 9th grader taking it so it kind of went over my head. I just need to relax.

@Ishyoboi02018 it’s OK. When I took AP World as a freshman, I thought I bombed my AP TEST and ended up getting a 5. Maybe it’s a streak for us anxious CC students

@catfanatic6 There aren’t any score calculators for the new exam.

@vogon123 I feel like the APUSH score calculator at AP calculator is applicable to the Euro exam as well since they both had the same redesign

@vogon123 You can use the last year APUSH calculator. The curves and score distribution are relatively similar, so it’s a good score estimator.

Edit: @writerzt71 whoops you beat me to the response

Link please

That calculator is not for the new exam. No accurate calculators will be available until the real scores come out.

@ZealousScholar Well I provided a link to the post 2014 reformed APUSH test that has the same format as the new Euro test. And yes you’re right. In reality no calculator is ever truly accurate because the curves and score distributions change every year. However they can come close and mitigate the anxiety.

Will the Multiple Choice also be released today?

Multiple choice was pretty difficult, short answer and DBQ were pretty easy (I had the one on the German leader). LEQ was probably the hardest for me.

Wow, looking at the dbq about otto van bismarck, the leq about women, and the glancing at the SAQs, my FRQs seemed sooo much easier.

I did have 4 points of view, it’s just 2 weren’t so good.

@Period Looks like you got the lucky set. Half got lucky and half didn’t, it’s a coin toss. I really hope I still did good, but I feel like after I got to my DBQ, my score dropped from a 4/5 to a 3…(maybe a 2

Yeah, on the top of my head I can’t think of the difference between traditional vs. new conservatism, definitely something I did not look over. And as for the women LEQ, I can’t think of many specifics because I didn’t look over much information about women either. Also the timeframe options are pretty small too. The enlightenment to the Cold War would be a lot easier.

THEIR DBQ is pretty ez cmon…u dont even really need to know the difference between new and old conservatism just look at the SOURCES…
.i would say that Bismarck deviated from old conservatism in that, unlike it, he was willing to change in order to meet the needs of his people…(blah blah blah)…but some aspects remained the same, such as his unwillingness to cooperate with the liberals…(blah blah blah)…
BASICALLY u can BS ur way through the DBQ just by understanding the SOURCES…u dont need to know what old/new conservatism really is

@mathdude12345 You are right, but wouldn’t it be so much easier if you knew the topic in and out. Yes, through the sources I figured out that Bismarck started to have more socialist like principles, however I used up more time to figure that out. Time is everything in AP exams (especially history ones), and the time I used up could’ve been put into making my essays better.
