I'm trying to finalize my schedule for next year. I'm going to be a senior and am considering taking the class mentioned in the title. Would any of you recommend this class to a senior? I understand that primarily sophomores take this class as their first AP. I took World History in 10th grade and got a 5 on the exam. Is this class very time consuming? The teacher of this course at my school will be the same person who taught me in AP World. She is notorious for being a very strict grader. The reason I ask is simply because I am interested in the history of Europe. I feel that this would be a very interesting class, but I don't want to get steamrolled while under the pressure of college applications and other AP courses.

I am taking both classes right now (soph.) and I find Euro to be easier and more fun than World. I don’t find it time consuming at all, maybe an hour of reading every other night with my school’s alternating schedule.
