Okay, I know that a 1 and 2 on an exam are not passing, but does that mean that the student would not get credit for taking the ap course? I'm taking an ap class and let's say I get a 2 on the exam. When I send that into a college, I know I can't exempt any classes, but do I still get creds for having taken an ap class? Am I making sense? Haha

Your GPA still reflects the grade you made in the class all year regardless of whether or not you passed the exam. The exam is simply for college reference and college class credit.

Oh ok, but they will still look at the list of classes and see that it was indeed an ap, right? Thanks for responding btw

Yes, it will be listed as an AP course on your transcript, and your GPA will be calculated accordingly.

Awesome, thank you very much :)
