In my sophomore year, I took the AP World History exam. I scored a 2. Does this affect the college admissions process at all?? My grade is the class was well above a 90...how much does the exam matter?

and also. what AP classes would you recommend? this year, i am taking AP English. Does anybody take AP comparative government? how is it? whats the exam like?

and just another thing i'm curious about: whats your dream college?

You don’t have to submit AP scores to most colleges, so they don’t have to know about your 2. Won’t affect admissions. If you do well on some of your exams, you can submit those, which may be considered, and may give you credit (depending on score and school).

In general, taking as many APs as possible will look good because colleges like to see strength of schedule. Some are often regarded as “easy” APs (like Psychology and Environmental Science) and might not look as impressive to colleges, but they still can help. I don’t know anything about Comparative Government (my school doesn’t offer it) but if that’s your only option other than English, I would suggest taking both.

Dream college is Swarthmore, at the moment.
