I was under the impression that colleges don't use AP scores to determine admission and that a student only submits AP scores AFTER they've been accepted to get their credit in the class

does this still hold true?

yes, but colleges give you the option to list your AP scores at the time of admission if you WANT to.

this is crap...im gonna get a B in APUSH because the tests are so retarded (taken directly out of the book, no general questions, all one line specific subjective questions...) but ill probalby get a 5 on the AP test (like i have on the other 3 AP tests ive taken)...

however, a person that gets an A in the class and 3 on the test will look better than me when its not because that person probalby got some easy ass teacher that did nothing in the class...since colleges dont really care about teh AP grades until after admission...

maybe when they ask about AP grades, they should also include the average grade in the class...and also some schools change peoples grades like if they ge ta 5 they change their grades to an A...
what a joke i wish i went to those schools

^ I agree. I wish my school did that- only I don't because it's unfair.

my does that. well not all the APs but WH and USH do that. i think theres other.
