I go to a pretty nice high school, but it doesn't offer all the AP classes I want. It only offers the normal/basic classes for some of the subjects (examples - psychology, but not AP psychology, and four years of Spanish, but no AP Spanish) How will colleges view it if I took the normal class, then took the AP exam (and did some more study on my own) (and scored fairly well)?

they'd be really ****ed. seriously, what kind of motivation does that show? you studied college level material on your own and excelled?! that's a MAJOR red flag.

Well, if that's why your taking the AP exam, don't waste your money. Do it for the credit. Many colleges dont look at AP scores for admissions
