AP Foreign Language Tests

I know that AP scores give you credit for Advanced Standing, but can we use our AP scores on foreign language tests solely to place out of our foreign language requirements for graduation (and not for Advanced Standing)? Also, can we use our SATII scores in foreign language subject tests (e.g. French) to place out of foreign language requirements? Any insight would be much appreciated! :D

Yes, you can place out but won't get college credit, which is fine. I believe you need a 5 on the AP to place out or a 600 (not positive - check that) on the subject test.

Not all APs give you credit for Advanced Standing.

Great, thanks! :]
