I'm thinking of possibly graduating in 3 years on advanced standing. However, my foreign language is not one of those that could be placed out using AP exam or SAT test scores here: Advanced Placement and Advanced Standing - Princeton University

French, German, Hebrew, Latin, Italian, and Spanish AP exams or SATs each give 2 AP credits that could be used for advanced standing.

the East Asian department, however, doesn't accept AP exams or SATs for Chinese placement. So I'm thinking of taking the placement test for Chinese and hopefully I'll place out of foreign language with Chinese.

My question is, if I successfully place out of foreign language with such a language placement test, would I get 2 AP credits as well that could be counted towards my AP credit total? Could I use them towards the 8 AP credits required for advanced standing eligibility?
