It is mad hard. I did french I, II, III, IV, and AP starting in 9th grade, which seems like a lot of studying, but we goofed off most of the time. No one in my school’s history had ever passed, but I made a 4 this year and I didn’t review all that much. I liked the Princeton review book, which has audio disks with examples for all parts of the test and sample responses that are really helpful. Looking over those and doing some practice speaking was really helpful. I think the most important thing is to know exactly what you’re getting into with the test, ie how much time for each part, the order, etc. Also take a gander at the material from past exams on collegeboard.
