I'll add my aim if anyone wants to chat in french to study ^^ It's LodSchmod

do any of you know if there's a guessing penalty on the multiple choice questions?

and which books are you guys using to prepare?

Why Are The Readings So Hard???

Good luck to everyone. Don't worry, it's okay. :)

Oh and, there's a -1/3 penalty for guessing.

a 5 is usually around 70% max, and considering it's a foreign language test, it must be around 65 %. I took the AP French last year and got a 5. But I speak french, so it was a piece of cake.

according to the scale posted by another user in the other AP French forum, a 5 is a 121/160 = ~76%...

So the dude's scale was off? 65% sounds a lot better than 76%!

I'd go with the higher bar, just in case..

76% sounds insane for a language test. I thought AP languages had extremely generous curves...

it seems plausible, especially considering the fact that there are native speakers taking this test as well.

Hey, does anyone know if there is some kind of qualitative rubric for the speaking part of the exam? I'm wondering how many points I'll end up with for my incoherent babbling.
