AP Gov Self-Study

I wasn't able to get into AP Gov due to schedule problems but I still want to take the exam. I was planning on simply going to the AP Gov teacher and asking for a textbook and possibly a reading schedule. But I'm concerned that the teacher might try to dissuade me from self-studying the course. Any help on how to handle this situation?

Just buy Princeton Review's prep book. It's all you need for a 5 in Gov.

^ absolutely correct.

I self studied gov this year ONLY using Princeton Review and I got a 5.

100% agreed.

Read over the Princeton Review a couple of times and you should be set. Just be sure to pay close attention to some of the milestone court cases.

forgot to mention - i self studied a 5 in gov also

forgot to mention - i self studied and got a 5 also

hahahaha. i love how op seems very ambitious in trying to do this, and then every post so far has gotten a 5 before haha.
