<p>Any AP exam has prestige, it will be useless for the “opting” out of class reward of ap exams but it will look great to colleges if you got a 4-5. Although colleges know what “easy” APs are. I will be self studying it and taking it next year</p>
<p>There are a lot of commonalities between the two courses but APHG does have much more course material related to recent times. Taking AP World history might give you an edge but I personally don’t think that it could be substituted for APHG. You will still have to learn a <em>lot</em> of new information.</p>
