AP Human Geography?

My school has started registration for next year and I am in a dilemma right now over two classes. At my high school AP Biology is offered over the span of two blocks, 4th and 6th, and AP Human Geography is offered only 6th block. I want to take both these classes but since AP Bio is two blocks I would have to drop the lab section of the course and take AP Human Geography or not take Human Geography.

What should I do?

Take AP human geo. self study.

It is not that hard.

For Bio, labs are important. They will not only help with AP test, but also with SAT II Bio.
Many top tier colleges do not even give credit for AP Human Geo.

I know that there are very few "good" colleges that accept AP Human Geography, but I think that it looks good on my transcript, isn it really possible to self-study for this class and still make a 4 or 5 while taking four other AP classes.

deltaG,

It all depends on your desire to study for this test and how you study.

A friend of mine, ver dedicated, spent about 2 weeks before the test STUDYING for A.P. Human Geo. from Barrons.

Did all the questions, loocked over and practised most of the free response & got a 5.

It is all upto you.

Also, she was taking 5 A.P's at the time.

So there is hope yet! Hmmmm....
