AP Lit and Writing?

<p>I was admitted ED to Penn. Last year I took AP Writing and got a 5. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to taking AP Lit this year if I think I can get a 5 without studying? I know I already have an English credit, so this would just be an elective credit, but if I get enough credits couldn't I potentially graduate early? If not, is AP Lit really useless?</p>

<p>take it from someone who got 5s on both ap lang and lit and busted her ass senior year in ap english classes…its not worth it. you just get a “free credit” that goes nowhere and counts for nothing, and NO ap class, i mean NONE can exempt you from the godforsaken writing requirement</p>
