<p>Credit is granted for scores of 3, 4 or 5 for most AP exams. Many do NOT fulfill USC requirements, but it's best to check with the individual schools & majors for details.</p>

<p>Yeah, AP lit will only get elective credit; I haven't heard of any department exempting a class based on that exam. Some people think they can get out of Writing 140 with an AP exam, but they make absolutely no exemptions to any student for Writing 140 or 340.</p>
