AP Lit Score

All my other AP's are fine
but somehow I got a 3 on the actual exam...which was so devastating...
Our AP Lit teacher is really experienced and well-trained
Her class is really difficult and I was the only one in class who managed to get A+ for the whole year and write good essays...English was one of my strongest subjects despite the harsh class.
I dont know how I ended up getting one of the lowest scores in class though....
If I want to major in English and the college see that my AP Lit score is low, would they judge me harshly based on that? I'm so worried and depressed :/

AP scores do not affect college admissions, they serve only as placement exams and get you into higher level courses or exempt you from general education classes. You either have an inflated sense of your essay writing ability or your multiple choice ability. You can fix both of these by reading, “analyzing literature like a professor”.

Well, first of all, don’t get too hard on yourself. What’s done is done. As a high schooler, I can totally understand your frustration and concern. Like jimmyboy23 said, AP scores are not be a deciding factor in college acceptance. AP scores are mostly used for the sake of placement or course credits/waivers. That being said, I don’t see a reason to worry, especially since you got an A+ in that class. I hope this helps.
