Ap Macro and Span 5 Honors OR AP Span Language?

Hi I am going to be a senior. My course load for Senior Year for the senior yr is gonna be:
AP Calc AB
AP Macroeconomics
AP English Lit
AP Euro
AP Envi Sci
Spanish 5 Honors
Band Honors

I don't know if it was a smart choice but i chose to do AP Macro and Span 5 Honors. Would it have been smarter (look better to colleges) to just do AP Spanish Language? My guidance counselor wouldn't let me take 6 AP's.

Tell me your advice so I can change it if i need to. thanks

Well, I think schools will be more strict on giving credit for AP Micro. The reason is because Microeconomics is more on the theoretical side while Spanish is more on the technical side.

A top Economics program will usually want you to take that program's Microeconomics course and will not an AP score substitute for it.

if you're not going to major in spanish then it doesn't matter. and actually it probably wouldn't matter much if you were going to either. you can usually test out of language requirements without AP's anyway.

and 5 AP's? lol have a fun senior year

5 APs vs. 6 AP's won't make a difference to colleges. It's obvious that you are ambitious. It'd be best not to take that many unless you know that you can do well in most of them.

depends on the colleges on your list. If they require proficiency in a foreign language, than AP Span maybe the way to go to fulfill the requirement. Also, I'm not a big fan of Econ in HS bcos most high school teachers don't have the quantitative background....
